The Oldies 98.3FM RV is the "Crown Jewel"
of our WIOE Remote Broadcasts. The RV is a converted 1979 Airstream originaly built for WOWO in Fort Wayne.
Flyin' Brian purchased the RV from WOWO in 1997 and updated the equipment.
The RV was then known as the Cow Country 102.7FM Satellite Studio.
Following the sale of Cow Country 102.7FM(now Froggy 102.7FM)to Federated Media in 2002, the RV was re-named again as the
Oldies 98.3FM RV.
In 2010 The Oldies 98.3FM RV logged 16,224 miles of remote broadcasts, parades, and other appearances.
The Oldies 98.3FM RV when rarely not in use rests inside the companies climate controlled warehouse
